BIOGRAPHY
Sam Power's unique style of magic has mesmerized audiences around
the world earning him the title of Australia’s Stage Magic Champion.
Audiences and notable clients such as Nicole Kidman and Kerry Packer
have described Sam's performances as " Top class " & “Outstanding!”
From slicing a girl with a laser beam to vanishing a sports car live
on stage, Sam Powers guarantees to surpass all expectations and leave
audiences totally spellbound.
Sam Powers broke a WORLD RECORD in being elected the youngest ever
President in the International Brotherhood of Magicians at age 19.
At 18 years he earned the coveted title of Australia’s “Champion of
Magic”.
He performs in a variety of corporate and private functions throughout
Australia and on international cruise liners including the P&O Fair
Princes, the Pacific Sky and the Norwegian Star using comedy magic and
illusions.
Private functions range from cocktail parties with the Prime Minister
to the multi-million dollar James Packer wedding. In the Corporate
Market Sam performs for such clients as IBM, AMP, 2UE, McDonald’s,
Singapore Airlines,
Westpac, Motorola, Sony Ericson, Fujitsu, Star City, Novotel, Kia
Motors, Holden, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Thrifty, Nestle, Kellogg’s and
Time Magazine.
Sam first appeared on Network 7’s “FUNNIEST PEOPLE” 1995 where he
earned 1st place, followed by a feature on Network 10’s “TOTALLY
WILD”, “TEN NEWS” and a residency on Network 10’s “CHEEZ TV”.
Sam’s highly acclaimed skills have been called upon during the “Mo”
Awards to work with Australian television personality Jackie Love as
“Illusion Consultant."
