“A Highly Skilled, Professional Juggler”
- David Letterman, CBS
BIOGRAPHY
Jerome Peter Loftus was educated at an early age in Music, Piano, and
Theatre, he joined the Screen Actors Guild in 1998 and took the name
J. Peter Loftus, but on the streets of Brooklyn and Manhattan he
became known as “Pete the Juggler”, which evolved into his nickname, “PJuggle”.
He is one of the USA’s most famous jugglers and has appeared on more
than ten international television shows, including recurring
appearances on The CBS Late Show with David Letterman as an
actor/juggler, playing roles in skits written by Mr. Letterman.
PJuggle first gained recognition in 1997 when he was selected by NBC
Sports to work in a national television commercial with # 1 ranked
tennis player, Pete Sampras, to create the illusion that Sampras was
juggling. After that, he continued his career as a professional
juggler performing in New York City nightclubs and lounges, was cast
as a principal in national commercials for OLD NAVY, and became the
lead talent for TOYOTA, appearing on the International Auto Show.
Since that time he has performed in every major city in the United
States, South America, and Europe with a strong resume of corporate
and personal clientele. He is also a highly skilled pianist and can
play the piano and juggle simultaneously.
The PJuggle Show includes feats of athleticism and mind-boggling hand
to eye coordination with a wide variety of props, using comedic
elements, music, improvisation, and plenty of audience participation
and interaction. |
