BIOGRAPHY
Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Nino Frediani, 63, is as a member of a
nine-generation show business family (beginning in 14th century
Italy.) He started performing at the tender age of two and, after
spending his childhood learning everything the circus had to offer,
decided to focus on one specific form of entertainment- juggling.
Although terribly nearsighted, his exceptional accuracy and speed
earned him the moniker of “World’s Fastest Juggler” in 1968- clearly,
no easy feat. This title would not only become his calling card, but
also a source of wonder from colleagues and audiences alike.
A world-renowned circus and stage artist, he is known for his
high-energy and explosive stage presence. He has twice performed for
the Queen of England, traveled around the world four times, worked
with Elvis Presley and, unbelievably, has even juggled underwater.
Now living in Las Vegas, he was the first juggler to appear in the
city’s longest-running production show, "City Lights." After 12,000
performances over 17 years, he set a show business record at the
Flamingo Hilton.
A hit during the Follies' ninth season, audiences will be delighted
with his long-awaited return to the Plaza Theatre stage. |
