BIOGRAPHY
In 1983 something amazing happened, The Magic of Mike Snyder & Donna
was created. It all started years earlier, when Mike became interested
in magic at the early age of five and was performing professionally by
the age of twelve in and around his home town of Lancaster, PA.
Through the years Mike had different assistants, but when Donna joined
him as a partner the show took on a whole new direction.
As graduates of the prestigious Chavez School of Magic, the duo
developed new and unique illusions, sophisticated magic effects, and
professional sets and sound systems. The result is now known as The
Magic of Mike Snyder & Donna and their production company, which is
capable of playing in most any venue with great success.
Performing as partners, the team has won numerous awards through the
years and they're constantly thinking of new ways to "WOW" the
audience. Mike and Donna were married in 1986 and have worked their
magic from Maine to Southern Florida, and from Hollywood, California
to the beach resorts and casinos along the Atlantic. Abroad they have
performed in Portugal, Mexico, Bermuda, Puerto Rico and Canada. They
are full-time performers and very dedicated to their art.
The Magic of Mike Snyder & Donna has been the featured entertainment
at Major Resorts and Hotels, Corporate Events, aboard International
Cruise Ships, Conventions, Private Parties and Banquets, as well as
School Shows, and Amusement Parks. One Park owner raved, "Our
customers love their show and we are more than happy. We do not get as
big a 'bang for the buck' from any of our other shows." Mike and Donna
have also performed in films and television across the country.
In February of 1996, Mike was selected to add a special touch of magic
to a childrens' production at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater in
Lancaster, PA. After seeing his talents the director wrote a special
part into the show for him and he revived that role in the spring of
2003. Since that original role, Mike has gone on as a magic
consultant, designing magic and special effects for various
productions throughout PA, he has even helped in designing and working
on illusions for some of the top names in magic.
The Snyders' award-winning act is a unique blend of magic and large
illusions, audience participation and comedy that equals the best in
entertainment. The combination of these two talented illusionists
performing together makes this a most unusual and entertaining show
that you won't want to miss. The Magic of Mike Snyder & Donna is truly
a show that is entertaining for all ages and occasions.
