BIOGRAPHY
John Knight began his career in comedy during his senior year at
Duquesne University and he's been going strong ever since. John fast
became a club favorite at places like “Catch a Rising Star,” “The
FunnyBone,” “Hilaritie’s,” and “Zanie’s.”
After moving to Los Angeles, John became a regular at the famous
Hollywood “Improv” as well as appearing on numerous TV shows in the
United States and Canada including, “A&E’s Comedy on the Road with
John Byner,” “Caroline’s Comedy Hour,” “Showtime” and multiple
appearances on “Comedy Central.”
John Knight has used his comedic wit to write for several TV shows but
his proudest moment as a writer is the year he spent as contributing
editor to his childhood favorite, “National Lampoon Magazine.”
While at Lampoon, John created and wrote the cartoon series,
“Apocalyptic Al,” a dark series about a man who thinks he knows when
the world is going to end and the way he decides to live his final
days.
Now a favorite in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, John Knight has also
earned rave reviews for his many corporate performances.
With his dry delivery and his twisted views of everyday life, John has
an ever growing fan base including “The Knight Club,” which he
describes as “A somewhat sane group of individuals that has a habit of
showing up every time I’m in eastern Pennsylvania or New Jersey!” |
