BIOGRAPHY
Joe Holiday was born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He
became first interested in magic at age of twelve and began showing
off his new magical skills almost immediately. Growing up so close to
the casinos, gave Joe the opportunity to become a versatile performer
skilled in both sleight of hand magic and stage Illusions. In 1985 he
won an award for his stage magic from the International Brotherhood of
Magicians. Over the years Joe's award winning magic has made
thousands of appearances in theaters, casinos, and on cruise ships all
over the world. Sharon, who is a
professional dancer, has been training since a very young age. She
received an AA in dance from Dean College and a BFA in dance from the
University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Sharon has worked all
over the country in casino showrooms, competitions, and for national
television. She was a principal member of world famous "Tap Team Two"
tap company and has also performed with dance master Lavaughan
Robinson.
Joe has produced and starred in his own
unique Illusion shows. The first of which was Dino-Magic. Appearing
at The Dinosaur Beach Adventure Theme Park, in Wildwood, New Jersey.
The show ran all season long, and was hailed as "one of the the best
live shows in the Wildwoods in years!
Whether they are in the theaters,
casinos, or onboard cruise ships, audiences can witness their skill,
personality, and outrageous sense of of humor. Joe and Sharon's shows
are polished productions containing magic, spectacular choreography,
dazzling costumes, and musical arrangements made especially for their
shows.
In 2001 Joe and Sharon brought their
show to Kennywood Amusement Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for a
seventeen week run in their own production show called, "Extreme
Illusions". A combination of some of today's biggest extreme
sports, magic, and dance. |
