BIOGRAPHY
Performing in well-known resorts, night clubs, theaters, and
international cruise ships, Dick is a favorite who always leaves them
laughing. From Las Vegas to Broadway, Dick performs wherever there is
high caliber entertainment.
Dick has also enjoyed teaching his
comedy workshop, an interesting and creative workshop for aspiring
comedic writers and performers both at his studio and New York's
prestigious New School.
Lord worked for his close friend, the
late Bobby Darin, as a writer, actor, and creative consultant on NBC
TV's Bobby Darin's Amusement Company until the singer's death.
He also appeared in Avco Embassy's motion picture short The Locusts,
which won the Atlanta Film Festival's award as the best American
Humorous Short in Subject in 1975.
Dick has done several voiceovers for
radio commercials and been seen in nationwide TV commercials. Dick
Lord has also produced Cinemax comix for HBO, and is now a
principal and performer at his own comedy club in Acapulco. |
