BIOGRAPHY
As a contributing writer for shows like The Daily Show and Late Night
w/ David Letterman, Chip uses his every man persona to poke fun at the
trials and tribulations of every day life.
“The only thing that keeps me going - Is knowing everyday I’m a little
bit closer to death.”
A regular at clubs like Standup NY, Chip has performed at all the
major city clubs. Currently writing for some of today’s top
headliners, he’s a sought after joke writer by today’s established
acts and the top new comers on the circuit.
As a contributing writer for Bud Light Ladies of Laughter, Chip helped
this years show run smoothly. Representatives from HBO, Comedy Central
as well as all the major networks attended the finals at Madison
Square Garden’s Comedy Garden. He has been retained this year as the
contest expands to Boston and Indianapolis.
His wry observations of parenthood, Catholic school, growing up in
Greenwich Connecticut, have been enjoyed by college, club and road
audiences all up and down the East Coast.
A graduate of New England College in Henniker, NH, Chip is married and
has two sons, McLean (6) and Teddy (2), who are a constant source of
comic material.
Before becoming a standup comic, he was the editor and publisher of
Commuter Monthly, a humor magazine for New Jersey commuters. He has
had several of his short stories published amongst them, “Plastic
Jesus” and “Deep Tux. “
