BIOGRAPHY
Stage hypnotist and corporate entertainer Alexander Van Buren's 21
years of successful performances have taken him around the globe, and
made him one of the most sought after corporate comedy acts in America
today.
He's dazzled audiences on the luxury cruise ships of the Caribbean and
Mexican Riviera, at the casino showrooms of Las Vegas and Laughlin
Nevada. He appears regularly for leading corporations such as Toshiba
America, Hughes Aircraft, Delta Dental, Silicon Graphics, Phoenix
Technologies, Oak Technologies, Coca Cola, Adagio, Circuit City and
hundreds more.
Van Buren has show plans that range from a basic show all the way up
to a full scale Las Vegas style production that includes dancers,
choreography and special effects.
What makes Van Buren different from other hypnotists is that he custom
designs each show to the unique members of his audience. He often
brings special music and designs unique routines based on the
preferences of attendees. In this way, he creates a one of a kind
experience they remember long after the performance.
Alexander has had extensive training in hypnotherapy and neuro-linguistic
programming. In 1996 he founded the NLP Institute of Nevada and began
teaching NLP and hypnosis related courses in Las Vegas.
In 1980 he received the prestigious achievement award for "Outstanding
Performance" from The Academy of Magical Arts Inc., the magical
world's equivalent of an Emmy award. He has appeared on numerous radio
shows across the country as well as on television as an authority on
the subject of hypnosis, and written two books on the subject.
Alexander is currently in demand to make appearances up to two years
in advance and has been asked to return to some organizations for over
19 years in a row.
He receives a standing ovation at every performance he gives.
